Local Women Business Owners Form Women Leading Change

Over 30 local area business women met for the first time on August 10th as a group called Women Leading Change. This event was hosted by the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce and Terry's Catering, met at the Glen Willis House and enjoyed an evening of networking, social interaction and developing the beginnings of a community group to work toward growth, solutions to the overgrowing needs of our community, business solutions and assistance for one another in the current business and economic climate.

 

The women shared ideas as well as concerns and came away with a sense of camaraderie and friendship. The evening was full of a community and business spirit accompanied by a lot of laughter and inspiration! It was obvious that issues impacting the various business areas have a common thread and there is empowerment and success when the efforts of many are combined.
