How
do you read Capital Living? Just like eating that famous sandwich cookie,
we think there must be a million different ways to read the paper. For
example, we received an email last week from a Franklin Countian who reads
it all in one sitting. Another person stopped us while we were delivering
papers and shared that they like to savor it, reading an article here and
an article there, over a number of days. Yet another shared that back to
front, all at one time, was the way they kept up with the community news.
Whatever your druthers, we’re just glad you’re reading and truly hope
you each edition. In the pages of this one, you’ll find a sneak peak at
upcoming events, including a special performance by Harmonica Red and the
New Heard in honor of the Franklin County Chapter of the American Red
Cross’ Heroes Campaign. And of course, you won’t want to miss this
year’s Living History Tour sponsored by the Garden Club of Frankfort and
Liberty Hall Historic Site. Read more about the theme, Stained Glass and
Blooms, on page four. Now, you may be wondering about that adorable
playhouse on our cover. Well, there’s a great chance it could be yours
if you buy a ticket for this year’s CASA Playhouse Raffle - see page
four for more details.

So, as we do love to say around here at Capital Living…pull up a
comfortable chair, pour yourself a ice cold glass of something and ENJOY!
